Classroom Projects

Well I am just learning how to post on my blog so hang on it might take several attempts before I figure it all out.

These are some projects that I have been working on this summer. I found many of them on pinterest and blogs. I will try my best to give credit, but if I don't please forgive me as I am still learning how to link, format and all the other blogging stuff. : )

Priority Mailbox cut into 2 book holders

Saw this idea on Pinterest! I spray painted them and now all my students will have one so I don't have to worry about them not having something to READ!

Two years ago I bought crates for cubbies, but then they built some for me soooooo I had crates galore and needed to do something with them. I googled reusing crates and this is what I made from what I found! I have since seen them everywhere on blogs and pinterest. I just recovered them to match my new them... Bright polka dots!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE how these turned out. I found the Hall Pass idea on 4th Grade Frolics blog. I used foam poster board, acrylic paints, ribbon and my cricut for the lettering. The foam board is much lighter so  I will be using command hooks to hang it up.
My classroom does not have a paper towel holder so I bought one from Sam's and my hubby dotted it up!

I just recovered my lamp to match my them material which is called "La di dot" that I got from Hobby Lobby 40% off coupon (Thank you). I painted the lamp black and voila... New lamp!

This is called "dots on black" name tags that I put on cardstock and added a sticker multiplication chart. Purchased both at the local teacher store. My hubby says I use hot glue for everything...I do!  I will laminate these when I get back to school.

NO NAME paper sign. I did the same day as my hall pass sign.

My lovely Teacher Toolbox. I saw one of these tool boxes on Pinterest and found mine at Lowes. I added paper and borders to match my classroom colors. I can't wait to fill it up with supplies!

  2. I'm a new 3rd grade blogger too. I have to try stuff over and over and read tutorial after tutorial, then sometimes, it works!! The hardest thing I've done was making the button. It just took forever. Finally I have it. I love your projects. My next one is that storage/drawer thing that I also saw on Pinterest. Yours is darling. The one I saw was spray painted a bright color, then the paper put into the drawers. Really cute!! Good luck with your blog! It looks great! www.lovesthirdgrade.blogspot.com Julie
